David Conforti’s practice focuses on general corporate law and commercial real estate transactions. As part of his business practice Mr. Conforti provides advice to individuals and entities at every stage of the business cycle, including formation, operation, merger, acquisition and dissolution. Mr. Conforti has organized numerous corporations and other legal entities, negotiated joint venture agreements, and advised both sellers and buyers in the transfer of business ownership through stock and asset arrangements. Mr. Conforti’s real estate clients include landlords, tenants, property managers, developers and investors. Mr. Conforti has created effective structures for the acquisition, management, development and disposition of both commercial and residential real estate. Mr. Conforti has drafted and reviewed numerous commercial leases, negotiated the purchase and sale of a variety of real estate interests and handled dozens of like-kind exchanges.

Mr. Conforti received his JD from St. John’s University School of Law in 1989 and his undergraduate degree from Colgate University in 1986. Mr. Conforti is a member of the New York and District of Columbia Bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Mr. Conforti is also a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed real estate agent in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
