Jennifer C. Concino practices in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, probate, guardianships, non-profit entities, real estate and business law. In her estate practice, Ms. Concino represents both high net worth clients seeking to minimize the impact of the estate tax as well as those clients who have specific plans in how they desire their estates to pass to their heirs. She represents many estate administration clients in general probate matters as well as in the preparation of estate and gift tax returns. Ms. Concino also represents two (2) D.C. hospital systems in their institution of guardianship proceedings for patients who do not have substituted health care decision makers available to them. She has a wide range of expertise and experience in navigating the D.C. and Montgomery County Register of Wills’ offices. Ms. Concino assists in the formation of non-profit entities and their attainment of tax-exempt status. She represents numerous clients regarding real estate transactions and counsels clients on business formation issues.
Ms. Concino graduated magna cum laude from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, Maryland, in 1993 with a major in political science and a concentration in pre-law. She was awarded the Edward J. Hogan Prize for the highest scholastic average throughout the four year pre-legal course and attained a 4.00 average in her major course of study, political science. In 1996, she graduated cum laude from the Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark, New Jersey.
Ms. Concino is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (1996), the District of Columbia (2001) and the State of Maryland (2002).
She is currently a member of the D.C. Bar, the Maryland Bar, the D.C. Estates, Trusts and Probate Section and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
